Congressman John R. Lewis GA-5th District, GA Nancy Denson has devoted her life to the community and represents the highest epitome of a public servant. For over 31 years in public office, Nancy Denson has provided the citizens of Athens what every citizen deserves from their elected officials: selflessness, honesty, and dedication. She has done this all while gaining an experience and expertise in the operations of local government that is unmatched. Athens truly would be blessed to have Nancy Denson as their next Mayor.

Becky Finney I can't wait for you to be sworn in as our Mayor.  Recently, I heard a great story about you going way beyond the call of duty to help out a couple who are friends of mine. You truly impressed them with your extra effort and concern. Athens needs your leadership!!! you got my vote!!!

Paul Bowles Like some other folks here, I'm biased towards such a great lady & family that I've known for a very long time. Reading Nancy's Political Philosophy, it describes her to a T (as it should). But, the real tale is in her actions and her record. She has been a great, no-nonsense tax commissioner for the A-CC, and I think she will serve as a great ambassador to the Classic City whenever and wherever she represents Athens.
